My Project

Having a new concert bass drum will significantly help the students in the band program grow in their musical performance abilities. This new instrument--which will replace the 40-year-old one we have which is falling apart and taped together--will provide us with an improved sound quality. This will allow for an enhancement of the overall sound of the percussion section, creating a more cohesive and polished musical performance.

It will provide increased motivation and engagement: Providing students with high-quality instruments can boost their motivation and engagement in music education.

A new drum can inspire students to practice more, take pride in their performance, and strive for excellence in their musical ability.

It will enhance learning opportunities: With a new concert bass drum, students can experience a wider range of musical styles and techniques. This can help them develop their skills as percussionists and musicians, ultimately enriching their music education and preparing them for future opportunities in music.

Finally, Community support and pride: The acquisition of a new instrument can generate excitement and pride within the school community. Parents, teachers, and community members may be more inclined to support and invest in the music program when they see the school's commitment to providing quality instruments for students.
