This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

Our classroom family includes 20 wonderful students between the ages of 3-4, a teacher's assistant and myself, the classroom teacher. Our school is located in a high needs area in the city of St. Louis, Missouri. The kids love school and consequently our class has a great attendance rate.

Coming to school each day supports our students and their families in many ways including meeting their educational needs, nutritional needs as well as providing our students with a healthy and safe environment.

My students parents have been very supportive of our classroom needs and I genuinely appreciate the generosity of our student families and community. Our goal each day is "To be the BEST students we can be."

My Project

In Pre-School it is so important to provide the best environment for learning. By having a CRICUT Maker on-hand to use each day in the classroom our students will have the print-rich environment and hands-on materials for meaningful learning experiences. Thanks to this amazing technology students will be able to have hands-on manipulatives for all subject areas on a daily basis. I am well-trained in using the CRICUT Maker machine and software.

Enhancing our classroom with a CRICUT maker will allow me to prepare student materials in advance, saving and incredible amount of time, that is personalized for the student, specific to the curriculum while meeting the needs of each student's learning modality strengths.
