My Students

My students are gifted and talented students in grades kindergarten through 4. They are learning a lot about scientists and need a good literature connection.

Students in GT loves to learn and have the ability to make an impact on their world.

Learning about scientists and their struggles will help them make a connection to themselves and to real life adversities that people face while inventing or discovering something new.

My Project

Students will use these books to jump start their learning in a new unit on scientist and inventors. These books will help them to reflect on what they want to be when they grow up and how they need to preserve in order to accomplish their goals. With these award winning books, students can see how scientists were once regular kids just like them and how they stuck with their passion and turned it into something positive.

This project will help enhance learning by tying literature to science.
