Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My classroom is built on community and building relationships. My students are from various income levels and backgrounds and together we lift each other up! My new students this year are eager and love learning new things. We reflect on the gains we make academically and personally on a daily basis.
The minds of these youngest of scholars are creative, artistic and imaginative!
My students are a guiding light who persevere while passionate about their individualized learning!
They set goals and share in their accomplishments. Every day is an adventure!
My Project
The light tablet and accessories will be used in math, science, literacy, art and open ended play throughout the day. Students will explore color theory, capacity and fall foliage. Donations to this project will help my students stay engaged in practically all subjects while increasing knowledge about the world around them! Children are naturally attracted to bright colors and light making the light tablet a tool which helps build challenges for all students in my classroom. There is a quiet corner in my classroom which is waiting for just the right addition! Imaginations grow when wonderful sensory experiences are shared!
