Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As our Climate Action Team and Endangered Animal Club meet and continue to look at being agents of change for all environmental issues, this project will allow the students to become more aware about the issues of clean air and quality of air.
As the students read about and dig deeper into air quality and the ability to control it, they will be able to use the purifying system to see how different environmental factors affect air quality.
The students will be able to change the location of the purifier to see which parts of the school are most affected by air quality issues and then brainstorm and research as to why these issues vary in different areas of the school. Using their research they will be able to more fully work to change the situations affecting the air quality of their school environment.
