My Students

We are in the heart of Chinatown where over 90% of my students come from low-income homes. Our students primarily come from newcomer families. They are their families' hopes and dreams. They translate for their non-English speaking parents. Many of them receive free or reduced lunch.

Many of them live in single room apartments or even share with extended family members.

My students are free spirited and eager kids that give it their all, everyday. They need a chance at reading fluently so that they can achieve beyond what their parents work so hard for.

My students yearn to increase their academic levels and demonstrate their abilities whenever they can. They enjoy different activities from singing to dancing and to hands on activities.

My Project

Please help my students get purified clean air in the classroom. My students are eager to come back to the classroom to learn. With your generous donations, the Honeywell AirGenius Air Purifier will raise student performance and keep them safer during the pandemic.

Students spend one-half of their waking time on weekdays at school, we want to make sure that school is a natural location to reduce students' exposure to air pollution.

Cleaning the air in the classroom can reduce student absences due to respiratory infections. More time in the class means more time to learn.
