This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
We are about to begin our Fairy Tale Unit and I know that the Three Little Pigs and the Goldilocks puppets will add a whole new dimension to our classroom. These puppets will help my students better understand the story and be more willing to retell the story in a fun way.
I teach a terrific group of Kindergarten students.
My class is made up of 10 very different learners that need hands-on learning to make it real. The Three Little Pigs and the Goldilocks hand puppets will allow my students to become more engaged in their learning. The students are also English Language Learners so the puppets will enhance our speaking centers within our classroom!
My Project
Each day my students amaze me with the chances they are willing to take and the obstacles they overcome. I know these puppets will inspire my children to continue to engage themselves in their learning. The puppets will allow my students to better understand the fairy tales and will add to our genre study!
Students are expected to be able to retell the fairy tale and I know that these puppets will enable them to do so in an interesting and fun manner. The students will be better able to retell the stories orally with their classmates. I believe the puppets will also add to our writing block!
This project is so important to me because I know how much it will benefit my students.
It will give my English Language Learners more support to be able to retell the stories. The story telling puppets will have a huge impact on building the learning experience and my students' confidence!
