Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Students at my Elementary School love art and drama. Puppet projects are the perfect combination of art and drama! Puppets allow students the opportunity to express themselves through art making, the creation of characters, story, and performance! Puppets also allow students to explore emotions. Paper bags will be used to create the body of puppets. Construction paper and pipe cleaners will be helpful to add characteristics of puppets. Googly eyes are puppet eyes of course! Glue sticks will help attach all of the pieces. With these supplies we will create puppets to share with our community. Thank you for your donation to help create puppets with my students.
