Pumpkin Jack Experiment and Kleenex

Help me give my students Sax Sulphite Drawing Paper, Sharper Image S'mores Maker, Yadoker Plant Grow Light, Kleenex, and The Pumpkin Book so they will perform a Pumpkin Jack experiment and stay healthy.

My Project

I am getting ready to welcome my new second graders into my classroom. The first day of school is exciting. I want to provide my students with materials where they stay excited all year. The first project that my students will do is a Pumpkin Jack experiment. I will read the book, The Pumpkin Book by Gail Gibbons. This book talks about the life cycle of a pumpkin I will purchase a pumpkin, carve it, and place it in an airtight jar. My students will use the Sax Sulphite Drawing paper and draw each stage of the experiment. When the experiment is over. my students will draw a cover page with the Sulphite Drawing paper and staple the pages together (with my help) to make a book. They will display these in our school library. Last year our experiment didn't work and our seeds didn't sprout. Hopefully, the Yadoker Plant Grow Lamp will help this year's experiment succeed, and my students will be able to see the life cycle of a pumpkin.

Another project my students will do this year is Camp Read-a-Lot where I transform our classroom into a campground.

One of the stations at our camp is sequencing. My students will use the Sharper Image S'Mores Maker to make S'Mores (with my help.). Making S'Mores with this Sharper Image S'Mores maker will keep student engagement high while working on essential English Language skills. They will be able to collaborate with each as they make their S"Mores, which will also help with critical thinking skills.

The Kleenex Facial Tissues will help my students stay healthy this year. Germs will go inside the Kleenex and not on everyone!
