My Project

Healthcare Academy students begin listening to heart, lung, and bowel sounds during their very first year in the academy! They continue to build upon and hone their skills for their entire high school career. Our students are all planning on going into the healthcare field following high school - either by directly entering medical positions upon graduation, or after furthering their education in healthcare-related college majors.

The ability to correctly assess cardiac, lung, and bowel sounds is the foundation of patient assessment.

Giving our students quality tools to start learning these skills will give them a head start to becoming the healthcare leaders of tomorrow!
