Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our classroom truly is a second home for us. We have a long way from the beginning of the year to the end. My students grow to care for each other and demonstrate how responsible they can truly be.

They are curious about the world and are learning to find value in being bilingual.

They are discovering new things about themselves each day, and I want them to feel that our classroom is a safe place to do so together!

My Project

Help me give my students to opportunity to get pulled into their math and writing centers!

Students look for resources they can easily see from anywhere in the classroom and get their hands on during math and writing centers!

They are so eager to tackle math concepts like time and money and really benefit from being able to work with the concepts beyond the textbook. They love writing centers because they can let their creativity pull them in all directions. They need resources to keep them organized as they learn new vocabulary and literacy skills like the different journals and models.
