This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Each year we spend time perfecting our writing. This year (and in future years), I would like to give my students the opportunity to publish their writing.

I am requesting a binding machine and materials to help my students complete the writing process by publishing their books.

We will use these for our Wax Museum biography reports. Students write reports about the person they research and then they dress up as the person, and become them for our wax museum. Having the opportunity to publish our biographies will give my students more motivation to make them the best they can be, and to take pride in the work they've accomplished throughout the year!

We will also use the binding machine's to publish our fractured fairy tales at the end of the year. We will add these to our classroom library so that future students can enjoy the books for years to come!
