This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are a diverse bright group of eager learners! They are enthusiastic and super smart! They come in every day thirsting for fun, engaging activities to help them grow in education!

Our school is a Title I elementary in West Texas.

We have a very diverse group of students: many are English language learners, and they are very eager to learn. DonorsChoose will help teachers give the best education possible to our students. Together, we can make a difference in their lives and education.

My Project

We have a nice color printer! We need additional ink for our printer that will help our first grade authors become better writers. We spend a lot of time learning the writing process in first grade that includes prewriting, drafting, revising, and publishing. When we publish that is our final copy and we include pictures. A first graders imagination is a way they can communicate their thoughts. This printer can scan and print and we can have published work to hang in the hall for all to see. Students really learn by visually seeing others work.
