Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
3rd grade is such a special grade level. It is at this grade level that students write multiple paragraphs and publish their writing online. So often students will include text features such as photographs, charts, bolded words or colored fonts and diagrams in color. When we go to print, everything is in black and white.
Having a color printer in the classroom will allow students to see their work come to life.
Seeing their published work in color will be a great motivation for many of the students. I can only imagine how excited they will be to share all their hard work with their classmates, family, and friends.
