Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

The curriculum for Upper Elementary Montessori includes extensive language material that allows students multiple access points from homophones and synonyms to dialogue, euphemisms and poetic devices. These materials are in a card-like form that are designed to be in a drawer tower. This tower allows the cards to be accessed in order, and allows students to personalize their access point, and drive their progress. We do not have these materials, and it would make a great difference to their reading development to have them.

The curriculum for Upper Elementary Montessori includes extensive language material that allows students multiple access points from homophones and synonyms to dialogue, euphemisms and poetic devices .

In addition to that, we want to display content-specific books to the subjects we are exploring in class, and the easels will allow for that to happen in a neat way rather than laying the book on the shelf. Please consider donating to our cause to get organized for our students and help us celebrate Teacher Appreciation week.
