This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We all go through it, puberty. As we grow up, we learn hygiene skills that are essential in self care. Every Spring our 5th grade team provides human growth and development lessons to their students. These lessons are designed to help 10-11 year old girls and boys understand the changes their bodies are, or will be, going through.

As the school nurse, I love to put together "Puberty Kits" with some hygiene products such as deodorant, lip balm, and panty liners these 5th graders could use as they embark on the greatest adventure of their lives.

Please help me complete these kits for all of our 5th graders.
