Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This club offers students the chance to work on developing some foundational learning skills through playing games. These games will have students using a variety of dice, card, and board games to develop and grow several foundational learning skills. Students will work on their ability to self-start, critically think, problem-solve, cooperate/collaborate, and explore. I believe students need more opportunities to be creative and competitive within the educational setting. Not every student fits into the traditional options (sports, drama, and music). Providing students a chance to go beyond the normal curriculum are moments students will remember years down the road.
