This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Second-grade students at PS86k are going to explore different communities (urban, suburban and rural), as well as learn about conversation. They will create a podcast that will present their opinions on green spaces in different communities. This project will allow them to conduct the research necessary for their podcasts.
The materials provided through Donor's Choose will help students not only to conduct their research, but to create their podcast as well.
Students will work hard to research, write and present their ideas about conserving green spaces in all different communities.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
