Our High School's student body is ethnically and religiously diverse. We are also socioeconomically diverse and a Title 1 school. Students pride themselves on this diversity along with their interest in social issues and current events. Members of the student body were leaders of the March for Our Lives group in San Jose. My U.S. History students have never had a chance to go on field trips, and this project would incorporate virtual field trips during Distance Learning!
My Project
By utilizing the Apple Pencil with the grading app, I will be able to write specific comments on student work and provide detailed feedback. It will also allow the ability to be more mobile while managing the significant increase in providing student feedback.
Students need regular feedback to improve their understanding of the content.
Teachers need new management tools to help provide the feedback, especially when new Learning Management Systems (LMS) are implemented. Providing a faster way to comment on student work will allow students to adjust more quickly as well.
