My Project

During COVID everyone has had to adapt to a different lifestyle which has been detrimental to our learning and social-emotional needs. Students are still trying to find their groove back into a traditional learning environment. In my classroom it is very important to create a safe place where students feel free of judgement and open to sharing both their academic and their social emotional needs.

With the help of your donations students will be given extra tools to enjoy their learning experiences as well as voice their social emotional needs.

My students enjoy playing review games which often turns into a great friendly competition. Your donations will provide cool prizes such as stickers and even a chance at a claw machine where they can earn extra credit, homework passes, and even gift cards donated by community members.

Covid has also took a negative toll on many families financially making it difficult to provide basic supplies to their children. Playing games and winning prizes are great but without basic supplies students will not have the proper foundation for success. Donations will also be spent on basic supplies such as notebooks, erasers, rulers, and post its. Having basic supplies in reach for all students will allow students to never be ashamed of not having basic supplies that their families may not be able to provide.
