Providing the Class With Microsoft Surface Go Tablets

My Students
The students at my school come from an underprivileged neighborhood where one hundred percent of them receive free or reduced-price lunch. Violence and negligence are daily occurrences in our neighborhood, yet they come to school each day determined to succeed. My students do not have much, and our athletic programs have even less. My players come to practice every day and display resilience and an attitude to succeed. They inspire me each and every day to push them harder toward their dreams. Your help will make our players feel good and represent our school well when we travel to, and compete against, the schools in our league!
My Project
My students need a Microsoft Surface Go touchscreen laptop to enhance learning. My students’ skill levels vary within my classroom. With a touchscreen laptop, I will be able to give them access to different online assignments and projects that meet their needs. There are several apps that will assist with differentiated activities. The students will be able to do research and use the stylus to take notes. The keyboard will transform the tablet into a laptop, and the case will protect the surface go. Students who do not have their own wireless devices will be able to access the Google Class using the Surface Go.
The Microsoft Surface Go will help my students explore different ways to create engaging projects.
They will also engage in hands on apps that will surely create hours of endless learning.
By using the Microsoft Surface Go, my students will develop a sense of ownership of their learning by engaging in meaningful activities that promotes learning. The students will become tech savvy as they discover a wealth of resources that the Microsoft Surface Go has to offer.
