Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Currently, our young learners have a printer in our classroom; however, we go through ink cartridges very quickly. The last few have been purchased with my own money. The students would be greatly appreciative to be able to print what they need. The black ink and color ink for our classroom printer would provide students with the necessary materials required throughout our daily routine.
Receiving ink cartridges for our classroom will be extremely beneficial to my students both academically and social-emotionally as we continue to develop STEM skills.
Rather than having to print from home (many students do not have this option) or find a friend or family member with a working computer and printer, they will be able to print their work, projects, and practice content from our classroom. Nonetheless, the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic continue to be present social-emotionally, so being able to add colorful STEM items (games, visual aides, manipulatives, home school connection activities) to the classroom will be beneficial and possible with the colored ink.
