This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

It is no secret that many students often come to school not having their basic needs met. My goal with this is to be able to provide students with products that they can take with them. A lot of students have asked for many of the products in the past and I have not been able to provide the funds to purchase them for my students. Students often come seeking access to these basic necessities and I want to be able to provide them, at no cost to them.

My goal is to create a safe class where students can confide in their teachers to speak out about their needs.
