Help me give my students a resource that will enhance their learning from school to home.

The students in my classroom are 4-year-olds that are part of an Alabama First Class PreK. These four-year-olds are adventurous, curious, and a joy to know. They each have their own learning styles and embraces each other's differences. Out of my 14 students, there is one student with autism. Each day I watch them celebrate him, support him and encourage him. Even when he is having a meltdown they are there for it all. Despite the fact that our county is recognized by our poverty ranking, these boys and girls fill my heart each day with the smiles on their faces regardless of their circumstances.
The project is design to help provide resources for parents to use at home to continue building skills that have been taught in the classroom. Students will be allowed to take the backpacks home and engage in a hands-on activity with parents nightly. We will create new resources and add activities to the backpacks as new skills are taught to meet every learner where they are. Students will engage in learning opportunities while creating lifelong memories and connections with their parents. These resources will serve as a tool for enhancing parent and teacher relationships while extending learning beyond the classroom.
