Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am a Title I ELA-S fifth grade teacher, and the majority of my students are Venezuelan refugees. I also serve migrant students from Honduras, Cuba, Peru, Costa Rica, Mexico, El Salvador, and Colombia.
I aim to provide them everything they need to learn and grow, and thanks to the overflow of donations from my original project I have added books my students love and other supplies for our class.
Thank you so much for your generosity and consideration! My students are the bravest and most capable human beings that I know, and they deserve the same resources as all other children.
