This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Help by providing essential supplies for my students in Spanish, math, speech and debate. These subjects require a blend of creativity, organization, and focus, and with the right tools, my students will be able to excel and grow in each of these areas.
We are requesting items like glue guns, glue sticks, liquid glue, storage cubbies, lined paper, graphing paper, and snacks.
These items will make a meaningful difference in their learning experience.
In Spanish class, hands-on projects and creative work are essential to helping students grasp the language in a real-world context. The glue guns, glue sticks, and liquid glue will allow students to craft posters, cultural displays, snacks, and visual aids that reinforce the vocabulary and grammar they are learning.
In Math, lined paper and graphing paper are essential tools for helping students stay organized and work through problems clearly and efficiently. The lined paper will allow students to neatly show their work and practice their mathematical reasoning, while the graphing paper is vital for geometry and graphing activities.
My students are truly special because they are motivated, curious, and hardworking. They come from a variety of backgrounds, and they bring unique perspectives to every class. In Spanish, they are learning not only a language but also about different cultures, broadening their worldview. In math, they are developing critical thinking skills and learning how to approach problems logically and creatively. In speech and debate, they are becoming confident communicators, able to express their ideas clearly and persuasively. Despite the challenges they may face, they are always determined and eager to learn.
By providing these supplies, you will be helping my students stay organized, creative, and focused. Your support will make a tangible difference in their ability to succeed and reach their full potential.
