This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As a third-grade dual language teacher, I have the privilege of working with a group of enthusiastic, creative, and hardworking students who embrace the challenge of learning in two languages. My students are eager to explore new concepts, tackle challenges, and express themselves in ways that make me proud every day. However, to ensure they have the best environment to thrive, we need essential supplies that will support their learning and organization throughout the year.
This project focuses on providing classroom basics that will directly enhance my students' ability to learn and stay organized.
Items like Paper Mate erasers and Pilot erasable gel pens will help them correct and refine their work confidently. The Scotch thermal laminator and laminating sheets will protect important classroom materials, like anchor charts and bilingual word walls, so they can be reused for hands-on learning activities. EXPO board erasers and Crayola dry erase markers will make our daily lessons more interactive and engaging on whiteboards. Elmer’s glue sticks and Amazon Basics pencils are essential for creative projects and written assignments, while disinfecting wipes will ensure a clean and healthy learning space.
