My Students

Our school may be small, but it is mighty! Every child has capabilities, talents, and strengths; sometimes, all it takes is exposure or motivation.

My students each have a story to tell that would amaze you.

They come from different backgrounds with different experiences. Together, we are like a mosaic - all unique but together we create a beautiful picture!

This project will reach the 30 learning support students within my 7th and 8th-grade classroom. Being a school that has experienced budget cuts, we do not have the means to provide basics. Since I am paying for these basics out of pocket, it would be great to get some extra help providing my students with the best materials possible!

My Project

Working in a low-income district definitely has its challenges. Many students come from homes that cannot afford the basic academic supplies that a student needs throughout the day. That is why I am looking to help my families out by giving students as many supplies as I possibly can.

I have always been a believer that a school should provide as much as possible for students to succeed.

While I have been able to provide students with binders, notebooks, and other supplies, I would like to give them more things to help them succeed. By providing students with supplies such as stylus pens for their iPads or lamination sheets so we can laminate our multiplication charts so we can write on them, students will have even more supplies available to them to foster their success!
