I have students that have a lot of sensory needs and basic needs. Due to COVID-19, it has increased student behavior due to the fact that they are unable to manage their emotions or have a place for their sensory needs. With this being said, to help with their sensory needs, I wanted to get a few places of flexible seating, such as wobble seats, floor seating, and kick bands. These items are to help give students a place to output their energy in a correct manner. Another issue that is a need is the students basic needs. Often times my students come into class hungry and unable to focus on their work because they are too hungry.
