My Students

My students are so sweet and eager to soak up all the knowledge they can. They are a diverse group of learners. My students come from many different backgrounds. I would love to give all of my students the resources they need to be successful!

My Project

I am asking for a variety of resources in this project. Some resources will be used to help my students master some of the math skills we are learning in 2nd grade. Before we can send our students onto 3rd grade we have to make sure we have taught them the skills they need in order to be able to keep up with the fast pace 3rd grade has.

I have asked for hands-on math resources like, large blue base ten blocks and an interactive number line because I feel that if students can hold them and manipulate them, this helps them remember and fully understand that certain skill!

Other things I have asked for help keep our classroom neat and organized, which I feel is beneficial to students' well-being and enhances their ability to learn. The Sterilite large clip boxes are perfect for storing centers. The clip tops are very strong and help keep centers from spilling out when students carry them around the room. The "Mind Reader Rolling Cart" will be used to help organize my guided math table so that I am not using up any table space. The laminating pouches are something I find myself always buying. I like to laminate all my resources to ensure they last for years, which prevents me from having to re-print every year. The "Morning Meeting Chips" will help keep our Morning Meetings exciting and engaging!
