Prototyping Materials for High School Game Design Class
Help me give my students foam board, 3D printer filament, headphones, photo paper and color ink, and headphones to help them design and prototype their own board games, card games, and video games in our Game Design class!

it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My 11th graders will be taking their first college-level Game Design class this Spring. This project equips every student with the materials they will need to design, prototype, and iterate on their self-created RPG and board games, card games, tile-based games, video games. Students will learn about game mechanics, tropes and genres, iterative design cycles, and communication skills like industry-appropriate game pitches and presentations.
For students who are visual, tactile, and kinesthetic learners, these physical materials can empower them to think with their eyes, hands, and bodies to explore and create engaging game experiences.
As they create card games, students will use the Epson Ultra Premium Photo Paper and EPSON 320 Ink to create cards they can use with the Clear Card Sleeves. The Resistance Card Game and High Society Boardgame can help students become familiar with modern card games.
As they create RPG/DND and board games, students will use the MakerBot Filament Pack and White Poster Board to create their own game pieces, after using Multicolor Plastic Pawns and Colorful Game Card Stands to ideate and play-test their ideas.
As they create tile-based games like Forbidden Island, BANANAGRAMS, or Rummikub, students will use Unfinished Blank Wood Pieces and Blocks of various sizes to mark and organize into their own games.
For general fabrication, students will use Dry Erase Markers with the white boards in our room, and the Makita battery and with tools like Oscillating Tool Detail Sanding Pads Kit to smooth the fine edges on the larger, harder things they fabricate.
As they create video games, students will use the AILIHEN Headphones Wired 12-Pack to maintain a quiet classroom while their games create a righteous ruckus to stimulate the senses of players and create their own immersive storytelling environments like those they experience in esports.
