My Students

I have the pleasure of working in a Chicago public school. My school is filled with young ladies who have yet been exposed to the love of volleyball. I am new to this school and plan on starting up teams this season. I've coached at my previous schools for the last 4 years and hope to continue.

Students need extracurricular activities

Being on a team positively impacts students. They’re motivated to work harder in their studies, maintain good behavior, set goals & achieve them, etc. In order to support my students, I will need the right equipment to make it happen. Thank you in advance for supporting me as I bring a new love for volleyball to my school.

My Project

Our students at my school will be participating in volleyball this season. In the past, I typically have had anywhere from 15-30 girls play on my teams. My goal is to provide my girls with protective gear so that they feel comfortable giving their all out on the court during the season. Arm pads, knee pads, and socks would not only prevent injury during play but would also increase confidence out on the court along with supporting uniformity amongst the girls.

Protective gear will keep my student-athletes safe and generate excitement about being a part of something bigger than themselves.

I truly believe in the power of sports and know that this will make a huge impact on my girls this season and for seasons to come.
