Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students come from across the globe and face enormous challenges. We are a high poverty school and my students come from many backgrounds. Many are English learners and speak Spanish, Korean, Bengali, Tagalog, Russian, and more as their first language.
My students are a bright, motivated and incredibly diverse group of middle school students.
I am inspired by their hard work and dedication to learning. In the face of challenges, they are very resilient.
As a language arts teacher, I want to bring my love of literature, writing, and character development to my students as they navigate growing up in Los Angeles.
My Project
Our class recently got a project funded. We want to have the right case to protect our materials. This hard cover and sleeve will make protecting our device easy. The hard cover will help against scratches or slight accidental bumps, the sleeve will provide extra protection and make caring for our case easy. The laser pointer remote will be a useful tool in our classroom.
A protective case will help us keep our materials in good condition for a long time to come!
The remote will help when doing class presentations. It will help advance to the next slide and even has a laser pointer.
