My students need a storage shed to protect the outdoor equipment they use on a daily basis.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I have the privilege of teaching the greatest group of preschool students who are eager to learn, and get to do so through play. My room is an early childhood special education class, with students ranging from 3 to 5 years of age. Our students have eligibilities that vary widely, including developmental delays, Down syndrome, speech or language Impairment, and intellectual disability.
We have a happy bunch of students who have fun and are always reaching out to learn about the world around them.
My Project
One of the six domains we work on is physical development. We've been lucky enough to receive materials for use outdoors, such as tricycles, water tables, and equipment carts (which we use to carry items such as balls, hula hoops, and other physical education equipment). However, we don't have a place to store our materials, and they are getting damaged by the elements, and sometimes even stolen after school hours.
You can help us by ensuring that we keep our equipment safe and in excellent working condition.
In that way, you help ensure that our children have the materials they need to continue their physical development. In this way, we'll be able to use and reuse our equipment for years to come.
