Protecting our Technology

My students need protection for their very useful tablets. The protective case will preserve the life of the tablets for future generations of students.

My Students

I have hard working students ranging from working below standards to exceeding standards. The students come from all different income levels, ethnicity, and backgrounds. My students love to participate and be engaged in the classroom. Last year, we were lucky enough to receive a classroom set of tablets.

My hope is that the donated tablets will last for many future generations of 7th and 8th graders.

What we are missing now is a way to keep them charged up and protected from the occasional and inevitable drop by a student.

My Project

The use of tablets is seen by the students as a fun time to get some hands on learning. I have seen the change in my students engagement, and I want to keep the tablets in great shape for future students.

Future students deserve the chance to use the tablets to help their learning.

The tablet covers and screen protectors will keep them safe from the inevitable drop that happens every once in a while.

Since using the tablets we have discovered some great apps and websites that allow us to investigate the lessons in a different way. There is never a student who doesn't want to participate when the tablets come out.
