This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

I am asking for support in getting our football team shoulder pad cushions. Our students deserve to have protective equipment that will help reduce their chances of sustaining shoulder injuries during practices and games. Our school is a Title I school that serves a significant number of low-income families. The school system’s athletic department provides uniforms and basic equipment needs, but they do not provide shoulder pad cushions. Our football program cannot afford to purchase this piece of protective equipment for each player, so we are hoping to receive help from generous donors.

This project will provide football shoulder pad cushions so that our student-athletes will have extra protection while in practice and when they take the field.

As our players continue to work hard to be successful on the field, being able to provide them with protective equipment that could prolong their athletic careers is our main focus.

Thank you for helping us protect our student-athletes as we continue to promote a safe environment where they can thrive through participating in football.
