This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are amazingly curious about learning and highly motivated children. They are ready to learn and more than anything available to take on any challenge that comes their way to grow academically no matter what the situation may face them. They have become my inspiration to challenge myself to give them the tools to be successful.

Our school is in the East End area, and our students are low income; about 95% of students receive free lunch.

My students have suffered tremendously due to budget deficits our school has been facing for the past two years. Due to the tremendous budget cuts, it makes it hard for the school to provide the needed materials and most updated technology and materials to create successful investigators. I believe that my students also deserve to have the same opportunity as any other students in other schools or districts that are not going through the budget deficits we are.

My Project

Thank you to gracious donor like you my students have been given a class set of kindles to use as part of their reading/math stations. My students enjoy using them in class; we do have rules to go with them as the students use them.

My students are extra careful while using them since we do not have cases to protect them.

Therefore we would like to request wonderful donors to help us get protective cases for our devices. We are cautious with them and know that by having cases it will even help us take better care of them. Not only will it protect out kindles from getting damage, but my students may also use them as isles since they stand up for an easier way of usage.
