My Students
Having taught school for thirty-two years, I know that each year brings new challenges. The students that I teach this year are facing challenges that were unimaginable less than a year ago. Their determination to overcome anything that is placed in their path is awe-inspiring.
My Project
Despite my students being stereotyped by their community, they are far beyond any classification. They are inquisitive, creative, and energetic.
In order for them to reach their full potential academically, they have to be able to protect their health.
They are always willing and anxious to experience a world of learning that will allow them to overcome daunting barriers, including COVID-19. Providing them with the basic essentials for combatting coronavirus will give them an added layer of confidence to tackle their academic challenges with fewer distractions and a greater focus.
