Hello! I teach in a high needs school in Washington Heights in Manhattan. I teach a first grade inclusion classroom. Half of my students are special education and the other half are regular education. My kids have a great attitude and really are a lot of fun. In addition they bring a lot of joy to my life.

Unfortunately this year New York City suffered from numerous budget cuts. Due to this fact, Teacher's Choice money (money we can use for our classrooms) was cut drastically. I now have very little money to spend on supplies for my classroom, which has already been used up and school has just begun. This is unfortunate because the students are the ones who are suffering the most due to lack of supplies.

I would love to get lamination pouches for my classroom. I already have the laminator but it is hard to keep up with the pouches because they are so expensive. As an educator of student with special needs I have to laminate a lot. I have to laminate their communication cards, picture symbols, etc so they can last through out the year. Also, since it is first grade I have to laminate almost everything because materials become destroyed quickly if I don't!

We really need your help! With your help I can give my students the supplies that they need and deserve. These supplies will really help me differentiate for my students and help them be successful in their academic journeys.
