Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are special because they come to our high school from all over the world. Our school is special because we are a melting pot. In addition, we have a very large Hispanic population, and we would like all of our students to be able to take part in Hispanic Heritage Month.

The supplies that I am requesting will give the students a chance to create and design items that are reflective of their heritages.

Wood painting is celebrated in the Hispanic Culture, and decorating the wooden spoons with paint markers will give the students the chance to display artwork that is reflective of their Hispanic Culture.

The students will be able to work and celebrate together while celebrating their ethnicity and encouraging all students to join in and celebrate our similarities and our differences.
