Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We currently have a pothos plant named Paty and a spider plant named Peter Planter. On this Earth Day, I want them to be able to propagate the classroom plants.

This way they will have a piece of the class next year.

Students will learn about how important it is to have plants on Earth, and how easy it can be to propagate plants.

These stations will allow students to place the piece of their plant in a clear container and see how their plant is growing new roots. Once they see that there are roots growing, they'll be able to take it home in a new container.
