My Project
A printer is an essential tool that will allow us to print out an organized space for our young scientists to make reflections and keep records of their hands-on learning experiences. It also allows us to easily provide our scientists with helpful information not found in our curriculum that can aid their understanding of the scientific phenomena they are learning about.
In our hands-on science classroom, we craft lessons that encourage our young scientists to play, build, create, make observations, debate hypotheses, and refine thinking.
With so much meaningful learning taking place, it is crucial to keep an accurate record of our scientific understanding. A printer helps us capture our young scientists' thoughts as well as provide structured pages for drawing and/or writing, and document questions about their lingering curiosities.
Our young scientists have been encouraged to see science in the world around them! It matters because it nurtures curiosity about the world. Curiosity inspires wonder, wonder drives questions, and questions lead to discovery. Each of their discoveries deepens curiosity and promotes a lifelong desire to learn. All of this is wonderful; however, as an educator, I must maintain clear and accurate portfolios that show student growth and educational development. For this reason, I humbly request a printer. After all, proof truly is in the print!
