This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Over the last couple of years I have seen the benefits of hand on activities and how much more students retain when they are having fun. In order to support their learning our classroom is in need of manipulatives (math and phonics sets) for students who need visuals or hands on learning.

I love seeing my students expand their knowledge through the use of visuals and hands-on experiences.

It also helps keeps my students engaged because they have fun when we use different learning strategies. My goal is to give my students as much support that they need to learn.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
