This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As the coach of our girls' soccer team, I firmly believe that having proper bags for our equipment is crucial not only for the team's logistical needs but also for their social and emotional well-being. These bags instill a sense of responsibility and organization among the team members, fostering a positive environment where they feel valued and accountable. When each player has her own bag, it teaches them to take ownership of their gear, promoting a sense of belonging and pride within the team.

My goal for this project extends beyond providing practical tools; it is about nurturing the girls' social and emotional growth.

By equipping them with bags for their gear, I aim to create a supportive environment where they feel empowered and respected. Through this initiative, I hope to instill values of teamwork, responsibility, and self-care, promoting their overall well-being on and off the field.

What makes our students special is not just their dedication to soccer but also their camaraderie and support for each other. These girls share a genuine bond that extends beyond the game, providing a sense of community and belonging. By prioritizing their social and emotional needs alongside their athletic development, I am confident that they will continue to thrive as individuals and as a team, making a positive impact both on the field and in their lives beyond soccer.
