My Project

Our classroom is in need of new art materials for my students to create art and display it when they are finished. We focus on Social and Emotional Learning all year long and discuss how our thoughts and feelings about ourselves and others are incredibly important. We often combine SEL with art in our classroom!

By combining SEL and art, we are able to encourage a classroom environment where students build their positive self-image, self-expression, and self-love!

The laminating sheets, tape, and magnets will help us save our students artwork and display them in the hallways and classroom.

The markers and paint will help students express themselves through their art and will have access to supplies that support the diversity in our classroom.

The book sets will provide students with social and emotional skills that will help students calm their minds and bodies so they are able to participate in all classroom activities, especially when tasked with creating something!

With the requested materials, my students will continue to gain social and emotional skills that will build positive relationships among themselves and their peers.
