My Students
This is my first full year teaching. I taught last year during my student teaching when a teacher abruptly left her class. Needless to say, it was a rough first year for me, but I grew to love all of my students. I wasn’t given the time to set up a helpful, enriched environment for my students. This year I am hopeful to be better prepared and ready to help grow these amazing minds and enrich their souls within my classroom.
My Project
This next year I want to be ready to provide a amazing reading corner for my students, an area I feel is so important to make inviting and fun for kids to want to read.
Many students, I had in my class last year came from a background where their education was not supported.
I want my students to know when they come to school they can escape the worries of their little minds, and sit down and lose themselves in a book.
I would love to go on amazon to purchase a rug, and bean bagels, pillows to help me accomplish this dream for my classroom.
