My students need quality headphones with built-in microphone in order to add recordings to projects and be able to listen to songs, apps, and native Spanish speakers for listening activities.

My Students

Elementary Spanish provides kids with a unique look into a culture and language different than their own. My students enjoy being creative and expressive in their second language.

It's an incredible experience to see them flourish in an area that can be challenging for a young learner.

Boyne students are faced with other challenges outside of school as many come from low-income homes and receive free and reduced lunch. Therefore, it would be very beneficial for them to have the tools needed to succeed and overcome those obstacles.

My Project

BCPS has been fortunate enough to implement a 1:1 technology initiative. All students are provided a device to further their academic learning and understanding. In an age of digital communication, it is so beneficial for young learners to create innovative works to showcase their knowledge. In the second language classroom it is no different and I feel privileged to extend their abilities through expression in Spanish.

These headphones with built-in microphones will provide students with the opportunity to create meaningful projects by exchanging and presenting ideas/information in the target language.

As well as hear native Spanish speakers converse, sing songs, etc.
