Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Our school works hard to promote school spirit. Our school has days during which we encourage all of our students to wear their school colors or mascot shirts. The kids love getting acknowledged for their spirit.

Unfortunately, many of my students cannot afford to purchase the school shirts sold by our local print shop and some cannot even afford to buy them from our PTA.

Our school is a Title I-funded school with more than 75% of our population at or below the poverty line. Many of my students' parents cannot or will not splurge to purchase shirts, and I understand that. These shirts will make great gifts for my students and I can't wait to see their excitement when they put them on. Please help us show our Panther Pride!
