This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My fourth grade students are energetic, hardworking, and full of life. After focusing for long periods in the classroom, they need healthy ways to release energy, reset emotionally, and connect with their peers. This project will give them a variety of outdoor play options that support both their physical and mental well-being.
I’m requesting a Wilson NBA DRV Series Basketball, Ayeboovi Toss and Catch Ball Set, Grawun 12 Pack Jump Rope, Kids Soccer Goals, a Ring Toss Yard Game, and a Yitahome 80-Gallon Waterproof Resin Outdoor Storage Box to keep everything organized and accessible.
These items will help transform recess into a purposeful time where students can build friendships, improve coordination, and develop coping skills through play.
My goal is to create a supportive environment where all students feel included and encouraged to stay active. These simple yet effective tools promote teamwork, reduce stress, and make physical activity fun and meaningful. The storage box will ensure the equipment stays safe and lasts longer, so more students can enjoy it over time.
My students are special because they support one another and are learning how to care for both their bodies and their minds. With your help, we can make recess a time of balance, connection, and joy.
