My Project

As an educator at our school, I am thrilled to introduce the "Little Free Library" concept to our community. A Little Free Library is a small, accessible book exchange that encourages community members to take a book, leave a book, and promote a love of reading.

This project will make a difference in student learning by providing our students with easy access to books outside of the classroom setting.

By having a Little Free Library on our school grounds, students can engage in self-directed reading and expand their literary horizons. Research has shown that access to books at home and in the community correlates with improved literacy skills and academic success. Additionally, the Little Free Library will foster a sense of community and promote a reading culture among our students and their families.

Our goals for this project include installing a beautifully crafted Little Free Library on school grounds and stocking it with a diverse selection of books for students of all ages and reading levels. We also aim to establish a system for maintaining and promoting the Little Free Library within our school community.

Our students are special because they are curious, creative, and eager to learn. They come from diverse backgrounds, and each brings a unique perspective to the classroom. By supporting this project, you will help to foster a lifelong love of reading in our students and empower them to become lifelong learners.

Thank you for considering our project to bring a Little Free Library to our school. Your support will have a meaningful impact on our students' literacy and academic success.
